A designer, not a developer — someone who lives in Figma and creates elegant, usable systems.

Job description

Senior UI/UX Designer (System-Focused Role)

Location: Remote

Department: Product & Design

Type: Full-Time

We are hiring a Senior UI/UX Designer who specializes in designing systems, not websites. This role is for someone who understands how platforms function, how users interact with systems at scale, and how to translate real workflows into elegant, intuitive Figma designs.

This is not a role for someone who designs static marketing pages. We build complex platforms—admin dashboards, POS tools, SaaS apps, and internal systems—and we need someone who can understand how these systems work and design accordingly.

What You’ll Actually Do:

  • Work directly with prototypes from our development environments and rebuild them into structured, logical Figma designs.

  • Apply system thinking to design workflows, component structures, and scalable UI patterns.

  • Understand product logic and translate backend workflows and feature logic into user-friendly interfaces.

  • Organize designs around intended system functionality, not just aesthetics.

  • Own and evolve component libraries, design systems, and reusable structures in Figma.

  • Partner closely with developers, product managers, and QA to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and functional clarity.

  • Conduct usability reviews and internal testing to identify UX gaps.

Who You Are:

  • A Figma power user who thinks in logic, components, and workflows.

  • A system designer — not a “make it pretty” designer.

  • Someone with 5+ years of hands-on UI/UX experience specifically in web-based applications (not marketing or branding work).

  • Experienced in designing admin portals, dashboards, CRM/POS systems, or SaaS platforms.

  • Able to quickly absorb how a system works and reflect that understanding in your designs.

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments where clarity, speed, and logic matter more than fluff.

  • Strong communicator who can defend and adapt your design thinking.

What You’ll Work On:

  • Digital products across multiple verticals, including:

    • Point-of-Sale systems

    • Admin & CMS platforms

    • Internal tools for e-commerce, operations, and client portals

  • Projects where you’ll need to analyze existing prototypes or partial builds, and design scalable, production-ready UI from them.

If you’re a designer who thinks like a product engineer, understands UI systems at scale, and lives inside Figma, we want to hear from you.

Job requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer focused on web applications or system-based platforms.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing interface designs for complex systems (e.g., SaaS platforms, POS tools, admin dashboards), not marketing sites or static pages.

  • Mastery of Figma — including component-based design, auto-layout, reusable design systems, and logic-driven UI structures.

  • Ability to understand and translate prototype systems into smart, functional Figma designs while considering system architecture and business logic.

  • Solid grasp of how backend logic and frontend UI interact, even if not writing code.

  • Proactive mindset with a strong attention to usability, structure, and functional consistency.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate closely with product managers and developers.

  • Strong self-management skills and the ability to consistently meet deadlines without micromanagement.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Familiarity with frontend technologies like HTML/CSS (to better understand how your design translates into code).

  • Experience using productivity tools such as Jira, Slack, Notion, or similar.
